Quintile scorecard for publicly traded dealer groups — quick Q1–Q5 ranking for any group or all groups — NEW v0.12.3
Purpose
/scorecard is the command interface for the public-group-scorecard skill. Run it with a specific ticker (e.g., /scorecard AN) to get that group's quintile rankings vs all peers, or without arguments to get the full quintile scorecard for all 8 publicly traded dealer groups.
Delivers a heat-map style scorecard showing Q1 (best) through Q5 (worst) on each operational dimension, plus composite rank and MoM quintile changes. Designed for rapid relative positioning before an investment committee meeting.
Arguments
TICKERoptionalOptional dealer group ticker (AN, LAD, PAG, SAH, GPI, ABG, KMX, CVNA). Omit for all-groups scorecard.
How It Works
Execution flow. MCP tool calls are shown inline on each step.
get_sold_summaryCalls get_sold_summary for all dealer groups current and prior month. Extracts all 8 public groups' volume, ASP, DOM. Parallel with search_active_cars for days supply.
Ranks all 8 groups per metric, assigns Q1–Q5. Applies 1.5x weighting to DOM and Efficiency Score for composite score calculation.
Computes prior month quintile scores from prior period data. Identifies improving (↑) and declining (↓) groups.
Delivers full quintile matrix or focused single-ticker view with top/bottom investment calls and portfolio implications.

Limitations
- US market only.
- With only 8 public groups, Q1 = rank 1–2 and Q5 = rank 7–8 — quintile buckets are narrow by design.
- KMX and CVNA's used-only model limits direct comparability on ASP and segment metrics.
