Purpose
Dealer groups tend to benchmark internally — this month vs. last month, this store vs. that store. Without an external benchmark, there is no way to know whether the group's growth is outpacing or underperforming the broader market.
Group Benchmarking compares the group's operational metrics against the broader market and named regional competitor groups — including publicly traded benchmarks where relevant. It identifies where the group is genuinely outperforming and where gaps exist versus best-in-class operators.
