OEM Stock Tracker
Brand health dashboard — volume momentum, pricing power, days supply, and market share with competitor threat monitor
Purpose
OEM regional managers and brand strategists need a single dashboard view of their brand's operational health that they can pull at any time — not quarterly in a board deck. Volume momentum, pricing power, days supply, market share trends, DOM signals, and EV transition progress are currently scattered across different systems, forcing manual aggregation that takes days instead of minutes.
OEM Stock Tracker runs a complete brand health check in a single session: volume momentum (MoM and 3-month trend with HEALTHY/DECLINING/STABLE status), pricing power (avg sale price and MSRP position), inventory health (days supply with production signals), market share vs competitors, DOM trend, EV penetration, and segment mix — all framed as operational KPIs for your brand and competitive threats for rivals.
How It Works
Execution flow. MCP tool calls are shown inline on each step.
Maps user's brand or parent company to individual makes using built-in OEM family mapping (e.g., Toyota Motor → Toyota, Lexus). Determines analysis date ranges.
get_sold_summaryCalls get_sold_summary per make for current month, prior month, and 3 months ago. Calculates MoM% and 3-month trend %. Assigns HEALTHY / DECLINING / STABLE / WATCH status.
↔ Parallel Execution
get_sold_summaryCalls get_sold_summary per make for average_sale_price, current and prior month.
get_sold_summaryCalls get_sold_summary for new vehicles with ranking_measure=price_over_msrp_percentage. Calculates MSRP trend bps. Assigns STRONG / ERODING / WATCH status.
search_active_carsCalls search_active_cars per make for active new inventory count and avg DOM. Divides by monthly sold to compute days supply. Assigns TIGHT / HEALTHY / BUILDING / ALERT status.
get_sold_summaryCalls get_sold_summary ranked by make for total market, current and prior month. Calculates your aggregate share across all makes, competitor shares, and bps changes. Net share flow signal.
get_sold_summaryCalls get_sold_summary with fuel_type_category=EV for your makes and get_sold_summary by body_type for segment mix. Calculates EV % of total sales and segment contribution breakdown.
MCP Tool Calls
| Tool | Calls | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
get_sold_summary | 6–9 | Volume momentum, pricing, market share, EV penetration, segment mix |

Cost Estimate
20 health checks/month ≈ $3–7
Limitations
- US market only — all calls require US market data.
- Parent company brand mapping covers major OEM groups; niche brands not in the built-in map must be specified as individual make names.
- Multi-brand OEM groups (e.g., GM with 4 makes) multiply call counts proportionally.
- Makes with < 100 units/month nationally will have low-confidence KPIs — flagged in output.
